Nationally touring saxophonist, flutist, composer, author, and educator Christopher Braig has performed for more than three decades in over two dozen countries on three continents.
When not on the road Christopher is a widely recognized jazz musician in St. Louis Missouri with performances at the Whitaker Music Festival, Webster University Jazz Series, Mel Bay Jazz Festival, Chesterfield Jazz Festival, and the Sheldon Concert Hall. He was profiled by St. Louis Public Radio in 2015.

Christopher has released the CD Blue Morpho and a collection of his original songs called Yes To Everything Christopher currently plays in a New York based trio with guitarist Peter Knoll and drummer Christian Finger
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
From 2005 to 2018 Christopher was an Adjunct Jazz Faculty Member at Webster University in St. Louis Missouri and was a member of the Webster University Summer Jazz Camp faculty.
Christopher taught saxophone and jazz improvisation in the St. Louis Community College System from 2010 to 2018. In 2013 he started the audio production program at STLCC Meramec and designed curriculum for courses in Music Technology, Pro Tools and Audio Engineering.
He holds Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music in Jazz Saxophone Performance degrees from Webster University.
In addition he studied jazz saxophone performance at the Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music and is a graduate of the United States Military Music School in Little Creek Virginia.
